Returns Policy

At After The Market, a Buyer has the right to return an item to the Seller for a refund if the received item significantly differs from the photo or description provided on afterthemarket.co.za.

Conditions for Returning an Item

Return Process

  1. Notification: The Buyer informs the Seller via After The Market messaging of their intent to return the item and provides a reason.
  2. Return Details: The Seller then shares the necessary return details with the Buyer. Unless otherwise agreed, the return should be made using the same delivery method, with the Seller providing the same set of details originally used for shipping.
  3. Return Shipping: Upon mutual agreement on the return, the Buyer must ship the item back within 72 hours (unless agreed otherwise) and covers the return shipping costs.
  4. Order Cancellation: The Seller receives the item and cancels the order on After The Market.
  5. Refund: Upon cancellation, the Buyer's payment (item price, initial delivery fee, and applicable fees) is refunded to the Buyer's After The Market account.

Escalation for Assistance

If the Buyer and Seller are unable to reach an agreement or face communication issues, both can contact After The Market support via the chat bubble available at the bottom right corner of the website. After The Market may request additional information from both parties to resolve the matter. If one party fails to respond within 48 hours, After The Market may resolve the issue in favor of the other party.

Important Notes

Terms like "No Returns/No Refunds" or "Return not possible" in a store description are not applicable as they conflict with After The Market's Terms & Conditions. The Buyer retains the right to return an item to the Seller under the stated conditions.
