Adult Nudity and Sexual Content Policy

We are committed to enabling creative expression while ensuring content remains appropriate and compliant with South African law, particularly the Films and Publications Act and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

1. General Principles

All content must comply with:

• Films and Publications Act 65 of 1996 (as amended)
• Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002
• Sexual Offences Act 32 of 2007

2. Prohibited Content

2.1 Explicit Sexual Content

2.3 Restricted Commercial Items

• Sex toys designed for bodily insertion
• Items marketed with explicit sexual terminology
• Products claiming to enhance sexual performance without proper medical registration
• Used intimate items or clothing

3. Permitted Content

3.1 Artistic Works

• Non-photographic artistic nudity in paintings, sculptures, and illustrations
• Classical art containing nudity
• Abstract representations of the human form
• Traditional cultural art with nudity elements

3.2 Educational Content

• Medical and anatomical educational materials
• Sexual health information
• Relationship education materials
• Academic research materials (with proper context)

3.3 Fashion and Clothing

• Lingerie and swimwear (when displayed appropriately)
• Fashion photography (without explicit nudity)
• Fitness and bodybuilding content
• Traditional cultural attire

4. Content Classification Requirements

4.1 Age Restriction Marking

All content containing mature themes must be:

• Clearly marked as "18+"
• Tagged appropriately for content filtering
• Not visible in general search results
• Protected behind age verification measures

4.2 Content Warnings

• Partial nudity in artistic works
