This policy outlines our requirements for listing images and specific guidelines for different product categories.

General Requirements

Original Photography

• Sellers must use original photographs of the actual products being sold
• Images should be taken by the seller or by someone commissioned by the seller
• Photos must accurately represent the condition, quality, and quantity of items being sold
• Images should clearly show any defects, wear, or imperfections in the product

Image Quality Standards

• Images must be clear, well-lit, and in focus
• Products should be photographed against a clean, uncluttered background
• Multiple angles of the product should be provided when relevant
• Size reference should be included when applicable
• Minimum resolution of 1000x1000 pixels is recommended

Special Categories

Pre-Owned Items

• All pre-owned items must be photographed in their current condition
• Close-up shots of any wear, damage, or defects are required
• Stock photos or manufacturer images are not permitted for pre-owned items
• Serial numbers or authentication markers should be clearly visible where applicable

New-In-Box Items

• The main listing image must show the actual sealed box in your possession
• Additional manufacturer product images may be used as secondary photos
• Images must include clear shots of all seals and security features
• Date codes or batch numbers should be visible when relevant

Bulk or Multiple Item Listings

• The main image must show the exact quantity being sold
• If selling multiple identical items, at least one item must be photographed in detail
• Sample images must be clearly labeled as representative examples
• Any variations in condition between items must be documented

Prohibited Practices

Stock Photos

Stock photos are not permitted except in the following specific situations:

• Manufacturer-sealed items (as secondary images only)
• Items with verifiable authenticity guarantees
• Official promotional materials (with proper attribution)

Misleading Images

The following practices are strictly prohibited:

• Using images that misrepresent the actual condition of the item
• Digitally altering photos to hide defects or damage
• Using photos of similar but different items
• Watermarked images from other platforms or sellers

Enforcement

• Listings that do not comply with these requirements may be removed
• Repeated violations may result in account restrictions
• AfterTheMarket reserves the right to request additional photos or verification
• Sellers may appeal image-related decisions through our standard dispute process
